Yassin "Joker" Nouali is a young dancer from Brussels (Belgium) who managed to be recognized in the Belgian artistic scene as well as in other countries, and this in only few years. He started off his career in 2009 at the Final FX Dance School in Brussels. He soon faced the difficulty to present his own work and opinion about dance, even though he was student in this school. He then started to gather his own group of dancers, under the name “Insane”.

At this time, his goals were to get some experience as a choreographer and to allow other young talented people to express themselves.The hard work eventually paid off and quickly Insane get known around Brussels. Job offers started to appear for the group and its members.

In 2011, Yassin took a Dance Teacher position at Dance Attitude (Tubize) and at the Asbl Heyvaert. He became a member of the company 2Mad (former winner of Belgium Got Talent) in 2012. Following his path towards his goals in the choreography scene, he yet tries to stay close to another aspect of Hip Hop dance through freestyle dancing. This helps him to develop his knowledge of movement. He succeeds to win different battle contests.  Even if Hip Hop is what he started off, his vision of dance made him willing to get polyvalent and to study other styles (jazz, tricking, acting) to enrich his skills.

2013 has been a year full of accomplishments and experience. Yassin has been selected in a dance training program with the company Contre-Tendance (Brussels) in NYC. He also taught a workshop in Denmark. The same year, he managed to integrate some famous artistic agencies such as Amck and Rudeye. He has been the choreographer for the Zineke Parade and did some screen appearances (Seat commercial, RTBF, France 2)

The year 2014 has started very well for him! Among some of his highlights, he won the first place to the Street Talent contest which will grant access to his crew to a various sets of festivals throughout this summer. In April, he proudly picked up the second place to the Hip Hop International Belgium contest, adults category.

Yassin Joker is a dancer passionate by his work. His name is growing fast, yet he knows that it is through hard work, dedication and sacrifices that he became the professional dancer he is today. He knows as well that his passion will keep him a student of the dance until there is nothing to learn anymore.
